The QR code is drawn in your browser. The link or sentence in the box is not sent to this site. Reloading the page clears the box. There is no account and no form. This site does not set its own cookies.

Loading the page still creates an ordinary web request. The server, and Cloudflare in front of it, can see the visitor’s IP address, the page that was requested, and the time. They do not receive the contents of the box. Do not put a password or another secret into the tool. The PNG can be scanned by anyone who sees it.

The pages include Google AdSense. Google may set cookies to choose and measure ads. Those ads are not placed inside the QR code tool. Until Google approves the site, a visitor may see no ad. Google’s advertising policy is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. The site does not sell personal information.
