About

qrfromtext.com is a free QR code generator. You type a link or a sentence, pick a color, and download a PNG. The square is drawn in the browser. The site does not keep the text.

The page is one tool. It does not sell codes, host the website a code opens, or count scans. A scan happens on the phone that reads the image.

Use it when you need a code for a menu, a poster, a handout, a product label, or a slide, and you want to see the exact characters before you print. Read the line under the box, then scan the preview with your own phone.

QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. This site is not DENSO WAVE.

The square is drawn with Kazuhiko Arase’s QR code generator, under the MIT license. A copy of that license is on this site at vendor/LICENSE.txt.
